i want to make shortcute with folders on server so that i can change files directly.
when i tried i found files on server but dont know what is ahead?

You will first need some sort of file serving/client software like samba or nfs. Then creating a shortcut will depend greatly on what desktop environment you are using.
1 What is the fileserver? winxp linux/samba etc...
2. What os/desktop is the client?
