    VMWare USB Flash Drive On RHEL4

    I just want to share something, I had problems accessing my USB flash drive on my VMware5 on RHEL4 ... and if you have the same problem ...heres the tip:

    $ lsmod
    -- look for something like " usb_storage " module name or something alike

    $ rmmod usb_storage
    -- this will remove the module in the kernel which will make this device available

    And then go to your vmware menu VM-->Removable Devices -->USB Devices
    You can now mount or capture your USB flash drive on your VMware!
