Some sources say the installer isn't -super- polished.. A user account isn't setup during install?

Upon first boot IIRC is when the first user account is setup.

cool thanks paul I will try it out...I guess I have to use the i386 version of this since my turion64 is nothing but problems

It installed successfully. But the Xorg didn't start up no matter what I did, I tried changing teh drivers, etc. so i just gave up and put Ubuntu back on that machine.
