there are more stupid people than I thought and I'm not that bad (yet!).

I work inside a giant grocery store (no, I don't work FOR grocery store) where I run a small business. How stupid can people get (and lazy at times). I'm going to write them down for fun (but some I already forgot) to all of us to see.

A woman approach the produce clerk and asked;
Woman :: How much are these fresh corn?
Clerk :: 5 for a dollar ma'am...
Woman :: How much one cost?
Clerk :: (exhale heavily) that's one dollars divided by 5; 20 cents?
Woman : Oh !!

Now, how hard is it to figure out??

I go home happy knowing that there are a lot more stupid people than I thought and I'm not THAT BAD yet ....

A woman approach a food clerk and asked;

Woman:: What's the nutritional value for this sausage?
Clerk ::: I will get you the voucher for the item.
Woman:: (handing the voucher back to the clerk) can you read it for me?

Now, how lazy can a person get? I gave the thought of

1. She can't read (she read the sandwich signs fine)
2. She can't see (apprently she read the top portion of it already)

but there seems like she is just plain lazy. There are at least 4 other partons waiting to be served and she doesn't seem to care. I grew up much better.

i actually have this theory that the smarter you are, the more emotional problems you are inclined to have. granted, i dont have any scientific data to back up this theory at this time, but i have noticed some of my more intellectual friends then to over analyze damn near everything. for instance, i once observed my gf think herself to tears...a co-worker that has analyzed himself into the personfication of Fox Mulder

One guy came in and ask

Customer: Where is the cream cheese?
Clerk : Aisle 5, would you like me to show you?
Customer ; Yes, please.
<after getting cream cheese>
customer: Where is your Ranch dressing?
Clerk: Aisle 17, would you like me to show you?
customer: yes
<after getting the dressing>
customer: Where is your milk?
clerk: It's at the end of aisle 3

I can understand people can't find some stuff and all BUT come on, I'm not here to do the shopping for YOU, idiots. It's your WIFE's job.

customer: How much is this loaf of bread?
clerk: It's two for 5 dollars. $ 2.50 each.
customer: How about this french bread?
clerk: it's $ 3.99 but it's on sale; buy one get one free.
customer: but I only want one loaf. Can I get it half price?
clerk: Did it say "if you buy one, it's half price"?
customer: No
clerk: Then that's mean NO.

Okay, now, how hard is it to understand? It's two entirely different thing, buy one get one free is buy one get one free. You buy one, you get the second one free. $ 2.50 each is $ 2.50 each.
