    YUM for RHEL4

    I knew up2date is the default but I wanted to use yum, would there be a yum repository for this distribution? or maybe I just missed something??

    You can probably find add-on repos like this, but not sure if there is a full replacement YUM repo for the RHN AS4 channel.

    look for centos 4 yum repos for extra software.

    that is the community rhel. See what is available for that.

    Just an update! I have successfully installed and configure the correct version of yum and its dependencies for RHEL 4...yay ! man it took me quite sometime to figure things out!
