Looking for an Open Source HTML editor

I'm looking for a good open source HTML editor for Windows XP. I've tried teh one that comes with Mozilla, but I don't think it's that good.

Anyone out there with some good suggestions for me?

There's NVU if you want a WYSIWYG

    http://www.nvu.com/

This page lists several free editors, but not necessarily open sourse:

Yeah, NVU is the best I've seen out there. I've developed this site using NVU.

Believe it or not, I like Notepad for raw html editing.

No need to install new software, fast, easy, clean.

I took a peek at the source for this site and must say that it's good code for a WYSIWYG editor. Did you do any post production hand coding or does it generate that on its own?

I have use NVU for only a brief moment, and it doesn't seem to handle tables very well. Merging three rows into one leaves... strange results...
And yes, I know, tables are the devil.
