can somebody teach me how to login to graphic mode from text mode. And everytime i boot up it goes to the text mode.

There are Five RunLevels in Linux.
Level 0 is halt
Level 1 is single user w/o nfs
Level 2 is multi user w/o nfs
Level 3 is multi user w nfs
Level 4 is unused
Level 5 is Xwindows
Level 6 is reboot
You can make changes in your /etc/inittab after that you can boot your system into CLI or GUI envoirment depends upto your requirement. To switching from CLI to GUI use command given by. For Reference Check this link.Originally Posted by obaid
