Prompt pimpin

I tried this thread a while back and no one had any clue what I was talking about. I am going to try it again here. So for those of use that spend alot of time on the command prompt, we like to customize it a bit. Show off your PS1 env var here:

I like a colored prompt..

It looks better on a black background too.

nice thread!! mine is highhhly generic:

Nice, I haven't seen cowsay in a while.. Have you tried any of the 'skins' for it?

I always like to start a tweakers thread, just to share all the little things people to do customize their systems.

I didn't know there were skins.

This is one that I used to use for my production servers. Will probably resurrect it since I'm bored with the default.
