I use XP as my desktop. I use Linux where it works ... mainly as servers ... but most of my work is done on XP. Plus the fact that I have pretty beefy hardware and play a lot of games ... XP is a must for me.

edit: by Beefy ... I mean powerful and current.

my dual boot win98/rh9 is for my work related stuff ... and off course like what vern said ... GAMES ... GAMES ... GAMES on my XP boxes!

Windows 98se dual booted with xp on AMD k6-2-500 Mhz (old rig) mostly used for mini-games and sister's programming as well as a network testbed of sorts.

Windows XP Pro with SP1 on AMD Sempron 2500+ (new rig) for everything under the sun like GAMES GAMES GAMES GAMES and more GAMES 8).

same here.. WindowsXP and Windows2000 is my preference for desktop PC.. and believe it or not i still use Windows for Servers... thats y im here.. i need to know more about linux before i migrate my servers to linux.. can anybody help me with my knowledge path needed to start learning linux?

My box is pure linux. No windows. I miss windows because I want to play GunBound :lol:
I also want to run Windows so that I can make flash presentations again. ( I dont like running Flash on Wine, I dunno why )

And, I dont want to dualboot. "coz if I do, I'll get stuck on Windows playing GunBound :P . Slackware forever!

ako windows xp pro..naka preload man gud sa akong x31..pero naa ko colinux nakainstall with debian root image..so windows with linux akong gamit karon...murag bati man gud kau ang feeling nga walay linux nya dili sad ko ganahan ug dual boot so colinux lang ko
