    chmod ftp'd files

    i need help, i need to have my uploaded files to be 775 mode, specs below :
    proftpd
    rh 9
    bulletproof

    How are you uploading your files? Through FTP? Do you have shell access?

    the linux server is running proftpd
    I upload using bulletproof ftp client from my windows maching
    the server is running rh9

    i would like that all my uploaded files be of a certain mode and not the
    default mode.

    I hope you can help

    Couldn't you just your desired permissions on yourself using your FTP client?

    If you have shell access, you could also chmod recursively every file in a directory.

    chmod 775 <your ftp file/folder/directory> <<< pwede ba na?
