    Gnome or KDE ?

I personally like Gnome. It is very customizable and very responsive. Take note that I have a Linux desktop on machines that aren't so capable ... so I like that extra responsiveness. KDE is prettier though. On Slackware I like using Dropline Gnome at:

    http://www.dropline.net/gnome/

I currently use Fedora Core 2, and it's default desktop is Gnome.

I'm using Dropline now. Pero I think I'm hacing problems with it's packages ( 2dl ) k ay kung mag upgrade ko dili ko kabantay na naa pa kailangan i uninstall na 2dl package unya ga lagot sad ko sa pag install nako sa Dropline key iya gi uninstall ang mga updates software unya iyang gi ilisdan ug old version (

    Gnome or KDE ?

    But you have dropline running?

Dropline doesn't use the regular Slackware repositories. I suggest you upgrade the Dropline packages independently of the other Slackware packages.

I love KDE... I even love it more than Windows.

like vern said, Gnome uses less resources...

    Gnome or KDE ?

    Personally I use fluxbox.
It eats up less memory, it has no odd stuff that you would never use.
Its configuration supposes some manual editing of config files, but it's not
    really a big deal.
