hello,
that distro is really quite old (3 yrs). It may be helpful to get a newer version - like fedora core 4 or ubuntu... it sounds like it does not like the ide controller
telnet mtrek.game-host.org 1701
hi,
I didnt think it is problem with ide disk , bcause windows 2000 is working fine .
also it gets stuck after probing monitor , so there is not any problem with hard disk.
as far as error , there is no such written error like windows.
thks regds

I think PBHarris means that the software for the IDE controller included on Red Hat 9 is 5 years old by now; the issue you are experiencing might be a bug on it and it may have been fixed on newer versions.Originally Posted by pansarevaibhav
