Hopefully you aren't trying to set that RAC up on RHEL5... good luck if you are.
I'd recommend RHEL4, even then it's kinda tricky...

Hey everyone,
Ive been a member here for quite some time, but I completely forgot about it and never managed to post. So here I am!
My name is Randall, I am 24 currently residing in Portland, OR
Ive been using linux since SUSE 8, however long ago that was.
Anyways I love using linux on a daily basis. I use it for almost everything.
Ive run everything from, Fedora Core, Gentoo, Debian, Sabayon and the list goes on.
Currently I am using Ubuntu Hardy Heron (8.04) on 2 machines.
My internet browsing, downloading machine, and my gaming machine has dual boot of Linux and XP. I hate that I have to run XP at all, but I just haven't been able to get certain games to run properly with Wine, Crossover or Cedega.
Anyways you will hopefully see me posting here more and more. I want to support linux and the open source community as much as possible.
I am actually planning on getting my Linux + come winter so we will see how that goes.
Ive never delved that seriously into linux, and can't wait to learn the ins and outs.
The future is bright, and the future is open!![]()
Howdy...I'm really only posting to get rid of the big red banner that tells me that I have not posted in several weeks...![]()

Hi,
Site looks to have good info on the common Linux distro's. Referring site was from MontaVista zone.
Hopefully this first post will make the red notice go away about not posting!
