    Hi.. Linux user since the first release of slackware distro - I believe the kernel version at the time was 0.99.4, which I ran perfectly even with XWindows on my 486/33MHz with 8MB of RAM.. Strange to think that it would actually work, but it did. Have managed Linux servers for years - use them for hosting of my websites. However, I have a weakness for MacOS - it is unix with a cool frontend. Also professionally I have experience with Solaris and HP-UX - of the two, Solaris is my favorite.

    Looking forward to chatting on the site.

    i had a pretty good knowledge in linux administration though but i am weak in the networking part . So i want to improve my networking skills that's my main objective.my goal is to learn as much as i can and enjoy sharing my knowledge with all of them
