Welcome !
I have spent a few nights in SuSE Enterprise Server and Desktop network with LDAP and NFS. The problem seems to be on the Client. Here my /etc/fstab reads: 10.44.154.41:/home /home nfs soft,nfsvers=2 0 0
In Nautilus I can see a mirror of /home on the server - but in read only mode.
When I go Logout|Switch User, I can see all a mirror of all my LDAP Users on the server. I choose a User, but the User can not access the /home/User directory on the server.
The login crashes, I can log inn as root and watch
Can someone help me with the last trick??

Hi, I am completely new to Linux. I was introduced to Linux by the TV program DottoTech, so I decided to give it a try. As of this moment I am still downloading the Ubuntu 7.04 desktop version. At this time I would say any OS that comes close to being an improvement over Windows XP will be gladly implemented.
