Can't get write access to Win partition

    Hi,

I recently upgraded from RH 9 to Debian testing. Mostly everything works OK but I can no longer write to my windows partition. I've tried changing ownership of /mnt/win but it won't let me do that either.

I suspect there might be a problem with my fstab file. Here is the relevant line:

    /dev/hda1 /mnt/win vfat umask=002,exec,dev,suid,rw* 1 2

Can anyone suggest what I need to put in to make it accessible to normal users.

    thanks

    Keith

Just did a search to on the forums for this same issue when i first started with linux. The thread is at

Followed the suggestions given there and it seems to be working fine now.
