Exclamation Oh that 'ol win modem!

00:14.6 Modem: ATI Technologies Inc ATI SB400 - AC'97 Modem Controller (rev 01)

Yes, that's what I have in this HP laptop. At least that's what LSPCI gave me. And I don't have/use Windows anymore in this machine. I have need to send FAXES via this machine, using Linux, especially when I can send the FAXES toll-free, using Skype!

Now, what can I do to put this modem card to good use? Anyone know of any Linux drivers that can make this modem card humm in Linux?

IF you have the answer. please send a copy of your answer to zonofabeeATgmailDOTcom? Greatly appreciate it!

    Cheers!

You might check the linmodems.org site to see if they support it. Otherwise, I don't think there is a chance.
