This isn't that important, but I HATE TUX! - cutsy annoying little penguin. Worst of all is when he is a game charachter.......Anyway....
When starting Slack there is a pic of Tux on top of the framebuffer console. Anyone know how i can change this. I'd rather a pic of your grandmas butt than tux.
Its better to regret something you have done than to regret something you havent done :P
You can change your lilo.conf to have the line:
vga=normal
and it won't show tux anymore during boot.
If you want to keep framebuffer but get rid of the logo (or change it) and you aren't afraid to recompile your kernel, try this link:
