    Dance Dance Revolution

Hello mina-san! I'm here to help everyone get everything they need to play Dance Dance Revolution (DDR).

First we'll start with the actual program to play the game. It can be found at http://icculus.org/pyddr/ Please be polite, and read the FAQ very thorough. The developers get a little upset when answering questions that are located there. I found this out the hard way.

Next, lets move on to where we may download songs to play. A great place to get these is http://www.ddruk.com/ Please if at all possible use Bittorrent to download your songs. Not only does it allow you to get them all with little effort, it also helps take a small fraction of the load off of their servers. Again if you have the bandwidth to spare leave the Bittorrents running as long as possible.

For those of you that don't have the avaliabilty of Bittorrent, you may still get the songs, but at a much slower pace as you'll have to download them individually.

Lastly you're going to need to get yourself a dance pad, and a converter for your PC to play. At least play the way it was meant to be played. The converter, and dance pad can be found here http://www.levelsix.com/detail.aspx?ID=2

Now you'll have to get your converter at that location, but you can probably pick up a dance pad from your local Electronics Boutique store, or something similar. The converter, and dance pad should cost you a total of around $35 USD.

Okay, that's everything you need to know to get started, and when the developers implement internet support, we can have matches together. Babbing, you're going down!

I'm going to turn this into a tiny little OMP for everyone so it doesn't get lost in the forums. I'll add more steps on how to get it working in Linux, and I'll try to be as generic as possible.
