I need to prioritize the traffic between my offices. Does anybody know/tested/implemented something that can do traffic QoS on Linux. All I need ot do is to pipe the traffic through linux box that will be able to tag traffic based on IP or service with QoS tags, 2, 3 or 5.
If anyone can recommend anything then please let me kniow.
Thanks guys, but after all I've found out that Nokia OS (Checkpoint firewall runs on top) actually has a nice web-based set of rules for tagging the packets...so I'll play around with it.
I came across with wondershaper while investigating SuSE Linux Enterprise Server edition. Might worth a look at it if you are after QoS stuff. Now I have no need for this so I don't personally have any experience with it.
