    Need your ideas

OK, the draconian IT department here has blocked off both outgoing telnet and ssh ports. I want to connect to GLO to work on the site while I am at work. Well I want to be able to telnet in. I haven't found any php scripts as of yet, I might have to write one myself, but that would suck because I do not want to read another rfc, I want someone else to do the work :P. Anyways, any ideas?

not quite what I was looking for....it seems that is something that I would install on my host and then access it from there.....I don't want that security exploit.....there are programs like

Augh......what a pain....why they have to be so tight on their security, it is a little bit ridiculous.

httptunnel isn't any less secure than telnet lol.

What it does is set up a listening socket on the host side that will tunnel the information to whatever service you want it to... including ssh (which is by far MORE secure than using telnet)

Then on your client side you'd need to run your ssh client through the client httptunnel program... it works and it's secure.
