MOSIX Linux Cluster with Redhat 9.0

alharbi, I'm posting this here so others can track what we're trying to do, and give pointers when they see fit.

Ok, I took a look at the website, and it seems you'll need to d/l two things located here: http://www.mosix.org/txt_distribution.html
One will be the kernel patch, and the other the user level tools.

Next, also found on that site, is a brief description on how to get this all installed. http://www.mosix.org/faq/output/faq_q0009.html
It has RedHat specific instructions.

There is a README file in the MOSIX-1.10.1.tar.gz (User Level Tools) that has very detailed instructions on how to install this. If you need help on any particular part then please post back.

Cluster-installation:
---------------------

Once MOSIX is installed on one node, there are packages that assist in
distributing it to the remaining nodes.
Some such packages are available from LTSP (http://www.ltsp.org/) and
from ClusterNFS (http://ClusterNFS.sourceforge.net/).

From what it say's it looks like you just need to install it on one machine, then use tools located at those websites to distribute it to the other nodes. (I'm going to assume it means PC when it says node.)
