There arose the necessity to print a large number of files (between 200 and 300) yesterday. This would be normal about once a month. The machine came back with a a message to the print request in the single directory where they were to be printed from with the command "lp -dmt691 *" [my quotes] of: 'Maximum number of print jobs 52. Please split up the request!'.

52? I find the limitation and the strange number somewhat confusing. However, I am looking into it.

Anyone heard of that before?
