I would like to give Slackware a try. I want to put it on a laptop, but it doesnt have a floppy drive. Is it possible to install? Thanks.

does the laptop have a cdrom that's bootable? if so, use that instead

I ask because my newer laptop didn't come with a floppy (had to get a usb external) but it did have a bootable cdrw/dvdrom

Yes, I can boot from the CD. So, do I just pop in the first CD and go?!
