    slackware booted up and i was very very happy, thats how.

    more bugs recently with my dual screen setup. Moreover, i notice them in redhat, not gentoo. For example, if i start xmms on screen 2, on the right, the little xmms symbol that follows your cursor will mimic my cursor on screen 1. weird. that was new with fedora. this next bug happened with redhat 9. if i open, for example, the konsole with a transparent background, i don't just see teh background through the konsole, i see other programs where they were before i closed them. it doesn't happen on the screen1. i think that i am gonna look more closely at gentoo to see if these errors are caused by redhat, or if they are issues eslewhere..

    other than that, i think fedora is nice, and yum is a nice way to stay updated :P

    apt-get is the only way to go ;-)

    has anyone used this repository of rpms before? i have seen them a few times, but haven't heard of them being recommended: http://rpm.pbone.net/
