who has external drives of any kind? i have a external usb 2.0 40G, fits in my pocket it does, i got it for school, was damn expensive, and lets just leave it at that, works slow on my comp, but thats my computers fault, damn usb 1.1!!!!, well anyway just wondering who has external drives. cuz they are fun lol. this includes keydrives and such.

well they work in linux and are not too difficult to get going once you have done it once.

you may not have DMA going on it, check hdparm next time you have it hooked up. i would like to get one of those 256 mb keychain jumpdrives, seems useful. but then, if i am gonna do that, why even have an ftp site?
i find that an external USB drive is the way to go, screw these thumb drives that cost $200 for a 256 meg, when you can get 120GB with a kit for $200...

umm, you can get them for 30 bucks
remember this is canadian, they are kinda expensive here. the 256mb ones anyways.
