is there any way to set the default browser to something other than konsole, i love it for browsing my home directories and such but for web pages i would rather use opera since it has more problems and java will work properly in it, well not properly but decent lol.

As far as setting the default browser, here we go. you just need to let konq know what it should and shouldn't open. i found this with www.google.com/linux, one of the top results in case you are curious
Within Konqueror select, settings, configure konqueror, file associations, text, HTML, move opera to the top.
