    kernel...

ok, i did a new custom kernel compile, everything seemed to work, other that scsi emulation which i compiled into the kernel which is annoying. i still have the same lilo.conf that tells my kernel to use scsi emulation, also, the default language stuff said it couldnt do it. do i just leave the default language thing blank?i am going to try again and see if i can get everything working properly

i did not put scsi support so i shoved generic scsi support to see if that fixed it.

ok made a few mistakes and i am trying again, going to keep trying untill it works, its just my cdroms that arent working as far as i can see.

    Re:kernel...

Are you using all of your CD-ROMs/Writers as SCSI emulated? That's what I'm doing since it's faster then the ATAPI stuff. At least atm anyway.
