this is with sun microsystems java. i try it in konqueror and it doesnt work either, says the browser is not capable of using java, well where do i tell it to look, i installed java 1.4.2 to /usr/local/ and it is in the folder j2re1.2.4/
i have told the browsers to look all over the place, in the bin folder
in the /lib/i386/client folder
and a whole lot more, would just like the proper place to link to. i have also tried making a link from the plugins directory to /home/.plugins/ and then telling the browsers to look there but they didnt find java....
help :-\
