I use Slackware, so I have no use for rpms, but you may find this site usefull. http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/
Hi all
I have been a programmer for 10 years and a network admin for seven (so I have a little technical experience) ;D and just decided to try Redhat. I was wandering, which is the best site for rpm’s. I am an MCSE (I know, I know) and am completely disgusted with MS >and determined to make this work. Any advice would be appreciated.
I use Slackware, so I have no use for rpms, but you may find this site usefull. http://www.rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/

redhat also has a large quantity of rpms, if you are looking to install something, you can (on the CLI) type:
up2date --whatprovides=foobar
also, another site to check out would be www.freshrpms.net
other than that, try searching on sf.net, and freshmeat.net, most of the more stable projects will have rpms ready for you.
i was going to suggest freshmeat also babbing, damn you, well its the best place for rpm and sourcecode, rpmfind is a nice place to find dependancies and what they are from.
