    Panel buttons have disappeared (Gnome)

    Hi,

My Gnome desktop has just done a Windows! The panel has decided that I no longer want buttone corresponding to open applications. All the other buttons are there, but there is a big blank gap where the open apps buttons normally go. I've looked through Pane;l -> properties but can't see anything that changes it.

    Any ideas anyone?

OK I sorted it out when I stopped panicking.

The "tasklist" applet had fallen off.
