    Save Games

I hope someone can help with this one. I got RTCW running, but, well this is the situation. I was playing the sp game a few months or so ago on Mandrake 8.2. I then went to install 9.0 but had nothing but problems. Anyway I now have 9.1 running fantastic, the problem is that I want to pick up the game where I left off. I can't seem to be able to just copy the Save folder in and proceed from there like is usually a very common, simple thing to do. The only thing that I can think of that might be a problem is that those save games were using 1.33, and now I have 1.41. I don't know if that would make a difference or not. I have done that before with other games and had no problem at all. I hope someone else out there has moved a save game for RTCW. HELP

    Re:Save Games

I've never moved a saved game with RtCW yet. You should probably check the readme that comes with 1.41 to see if it breaks previous save game compatibility. I've known many patches that do this.

What exactly do you mean by 1.33 and 1.41? What is that a version number for?

    Re:Save Games

I believe he's talking about RtCW. He's trying to get his 1.33 saved games to work with the updated 1.41 version of the game.
