    i bet you could do a lot with gentoo on that machine. make use that you start at stage one and OPTIMIZE everything lemme know how it goes

    None right now. I upgraded my boxes and my distros do not support the HPT-374 RAID Controller (High-Point Tech) So, I post here from doze. It really chaps my a$$!! Oh well, at least it's Win 2k Pro. It is perty stable for doze :'( :'(

    have you tried the 2.6.0test4 kernel?
    might be usefull for you.
