    2 ip's / eth1 + monitoring and setting limit speed

    1 server linux slackware distribution
    eth1 internal.
    i want to set up 2 ip's on eth1
    1 from C class (already set it) - 7 clients
    1 from A class - 2 clients
    need some advices in this matter.
    ==============================================
    tell me about some tools that can monitor each ip , creating reports, etc.
    ==============================================
    which tool shoul i use to limit speed for ip's from A class, and some advices how to limit only during day time, and during the night to let them maximum speed.

    this little app looks pretty nifty for monitoring your connectivity:

    also you will want to setup a cron job for the limiter. Some monitoring apps contain limiters in them as well. also, check this one out:

    There are many others too, i just don't have any recommendations since i don't use/need one. type 'bandwidth' into the search bar @ freshmeat.net to see what else they have
