Anyone running SETI on RH8 ??

I'm a proper linux noob I'm afraid (sorry ppls)
and would spend more time in RH if only I could get SETI running for it.
(I'm quite dedicated to crunching seti units for my team you see)

    So my question is this:
Do any of you run seti on rh8 ?? If so what version do I need to download & how do I install the thing ??

    Thanks in advance *crosses fingaz*

    Re:Anyone running SETI on RH8 ??

    Alastair, thankyou so much !!!
I currently run the windoze command line client here, not the pretty lookin screen saver thingie.
I'm not that sure which version I need to download even, to be honest.

These are the Linux ones: (all version 3.03)
    i386-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1
    i386-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc1-static
    i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1
    i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc1-static
There's also i586.... of above!! Very confusing I think.

I figure that this is a 686 architecture machine (Athlon XP) so
either of the last 2 "should" be right?? If so, which one?

Once downloaded I gotta know how to install it, having only played with RH and thus only ever instaled RPM's, never used "make" or any of those commands & don't physically understand what they're about really.

Sorry for being a total pleb mate

It does say this above the listing tho:
For Linux systems on the AMD K6 processor, only the binaries
    i386-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1 and
    i386-pc-linux-gnulibc1-static should be used.
    The binaries i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1 and
    i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1-static will not function on
    the AMD K6 processor.
Isn't K6 the old slot Athlons, not the current sockets ??

Thanks again Alastair & anyone else who knows such things.

    Jay.
