???I don't know what to do, but I do know why it is like this and its because I switched to a smaller monitor...I just don't know how to set the config. to a smaller one...
The problem is you provided us with absolutely almost no useful information in your post.
We need to know what distribution, video card, and monitor you have. It does appear from your post that you changed monitors. If this is the case you need to edit your XF86Config file to reflect the change, but we need to know some relevant information to tell you how to do this.

It will probably be helpful for you to retain the manual from your monitor too. This will let you know the refresh rates that you should use when configuring X. Assuming of course that you have the manual. If not, then google it. That's how I got mine working ;D
LOL the monitor manual, no where in any of the documentation that came with my monitor was there anything saying anything about anything i needed to know lol, i had to google it, thank god for google, if it didnt exist, whew wed all be dead.
