Joystick Message

I started seeing this at bootup:

Starting joystick driver<notice>'/etc/init.d/rc5.d/S10sendmail start' exits with status 0
<notice>/etc/init.d/rc5.d/S11joystick start

However, my joystick works and I have the cs461x.o in the right directory.

I was working with the sound card settings (which Idont think are correct and my sound doesnt 'sound' good), so maybe something happened then?!

Looks almost like it is trying to load the joystick driver before the cs461x.o module. Which it seems to require. Is the cs461x.o module the right one for your sound card?

Well, I really am lost with all this. My sound never really worked well. I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card, but it wont let me select that one.

I deleted what was there and then ended up putting it back when the TB didnt work.
