GTK2 does not use "gtk-config". It is obsolete. GTK2 now uses "pkgconfig". Which seems to be missing. I looked right through that beofre. :P

Thanks guys. Well, I have both gtk-config and pkgconfig.....should I look for a newer version of pkgconfig?

Take a look at your Makefile and verify that all of the libraries that it needs are installed.

I don't think /usr/local/bin is always in the path. You might want to check your path to see if that's included.
