    Rippin' ISO's

How in God's sweet name do I rip an ISO from a disc (CD-ROM) onto my hard drive??? Using Mandrake 9, no burner, and more than enough beer.

command line wise, you can use mkisofs - check out the man page.....
man mkisofs - the beer should help there :P :P :P

otherwise, you can use a gui. i think gtoater has the best one for ripping cds, it will probally want cdrecord installed to run, but you shouldn't have to configure it
