Re:Web Cam
Yeah, it was laying around, so I thought it might work in Linux. Any suggestions for webcams that will work.

Re:Web Cam
No, I don't know what webcams are the best supported. I have never bought, so I never had a reason to look into what was supported. Too busy, no time to play around with them. :P

Re:Web Cam
I actually got the camera to work in XP...now in Suse, it seems to be recognized. This is from var/log/messages:
Dec 31 09:20:16 linux kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus2/1/1, assigned device number 10
Dec 31 09:20:16 linux kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 2, frame# 1143
Dec 31 09:20:16 linux kernel: usb.c: USB device not accepting new address=10 (error=-110)
Dec 31 09:20:16 linux kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus2/1/1, assigned device number 11
Dec 31 09:20:16 linux kernel: usb.c: USB device not accepting new address=11 (error=-110)
I also see it in Yast2...how can I try to see if it actually works?
