Laptop, BlackBox, FreeType, and bbconf

When im running blackbox everything seems to go pretty well. But when i close it, my laptop's screen stays black and i cant get back to the console. But i know the computer is still on because i can SSH in. How do i fix this? Is this just a simple problem?

Also, Ive been trying for the last 3 hours to get bbconf to work, and have been unsuccessful. if i ever get it compilied and installed, how would i start it up so i could configure blackbox?

One more thing, i installed freetype with pkgtool because my fonts are very choppy, if u know what i mean. How do i make it so blackbox uses "freetype" and clears up my fonts, is this a bbconf thing or no?

Ok ok, we are learning X as we go. Freetype seems to be an option in the XF86Config file. And bbconf is just ran by actually typing "bbconf" in an xterm window. So those 2 questions are cleared up. Still looking for the correct Neomagic Driver for "Dell Latitude XPi P133ST" though.
