    screensaver goes blank

    > Hi all

    I got a bit of a strange one, problem with my screen saver. I've re-installed RH8.0 and user kernel 2.4.18.8. I've installed my nvidia drivers successfully and working great. I have gnome and kde installed. Gnome screen savers works fine. But kde screen savers does not, when I test the screen saver it works. When I leave it to run naturally the screen saver kicks in but the screen is blank. When I move the mouse the screen goes back to desktop.


    Any ideas?

    This is a know bug in KDE that comes with 8.0. They have not released an errata for it yet.
