Thread: Kernel Version

    Kernel Version

I noticed that my Kernel Version is: 2.4.18-64GB-SMP. I do Online Updates through Yast2 of Suse every 10 days or so, I imagine that is when and where I got it updated. What does the SMP mean, and is this ok? Thanks.

Its better to regret something you have done than to regret something you havent done :P

    Re:Kernel Version

Thanks for the info. I did a search on the Suse site also and found out how to put it back to the default kernel.
