wu-ftp should come with your distro.

If you didnt install it at the start then the rpm can be found on one of your diskz.

To install a rpm type go into the directory where it is and type:
rpm -ivh (the rpm name and version).rpm

you can configure it in /etc/xinetd.d/wu-ftpd

to stor stop it use the command:
    service xinetd start/stop/restart

Its better to regret something you have done than to regret something you havent done :P

    just xinetd.d/wuftp?

you have to edit that file with a text editor.

eg. the command would be vi /etc/xinetd.d/wu-(press the tab key to complete)
that is if you edit it in vi.

or else open it with gedit or some other text editor from your desktop.

in there change disable to no, then start xinetd again
