    UDP works, TCP doesn't

I'm running a stand alone RH 7.3 box and cannot get my programs that use UDP to work, whereas TCP works fine. It is definitely a configuration problem and not code and I'm stumped as to what it could be. Any thoughts?

    cheers.

type "lokkit" and see if its on, unless uve been defining ure own rules with ipchains or ip tables?

    Just a guess
Its better to regret something you have done than to regret something you havent done :P

Sounds like your firewall is dropping all UDP packets.
