I would like to reopen this if anyone has any ideas for me. Sporadically when I boot to Suse (usually the first time for the day, whether I had been in Windoze first or not) I see the message during start up that eth0 (dhcp).....no ip address found yet....backrounding. When that happens, I have no internet. Usually it says it failed and I do have. I have a router. Thanks for any help.

Make sure "plug and play os" is turned off in your Bios. Thats all i can think off if i hear your problems.

When it is turned on PCI in windows works fine but it bites linux.
