Network configuration

Hi,

I am a Newbie.I have two Linux boxes.One of my boxes has network configuration gui other does not.I don't remember what options I had while downloading.

I need help on how to add network configuration option on my start menu.I spent quite a time on it.Please help me out.I am using KDE.

You didn't mention what distro(s) you're using, but most distros that include KDE have some sort of system wide Control Panel of sorts. Make sure KDE's admin and network packages are installed and that your menus are updated.
If all else fails, there's always the command ifconfig at the command line. See the man page for ifconfig for more info.

I got a q 'bout networking, i have a computer connectet to a net in windows 2000, and the computer with the internet connection (mine is adsl) have red hat 7.1 and also have 2 ethernet cards, one to the internet and the other to my net. but i dont know how to cofigure the eth1 (eth0 is connected to internet and is working well).

how can I configure both cards to in tex mode?
