I have just recently switched from WindowsXP to Mandrake 8.2.
I having a problem that when I Shutdown my maching it has a message saying "Unmounting NFS Filesystemand then tells me it FAILED. It then freezes and doesn complete the shutdown.
I am a newbie to Linux, so forgive me if it is a simple answer.
Thanks.
If you're not using the NFS service (unix file sharing), then turn that service off. The services are controled via the Mandrake COntrol Center - there's a services section in there where you can stop/start the services and tell the machine whether to start them at boot and such.
