Samba (http://samba.org) is a way of communicating linux and windows, it basically fools the winmachine into thinking it's talking to another win machine. It alows you to "map" drives on the remote linux machine similar to how it would be with a remote win machine.
If it's just a few files, and not all the time, you might also consider transferring them via FTP.
