Opera -6.02 - reload

I keep having to hit the reload button when browsing web pages, I remember sometime last year that there was a lot of posts on various boards about the problem.

Done a Google search, but didn't turn up anything relevent. The Opera site ahs a tips and tweaks section, but nothing seems to work.

Anyone remeber this problem and what the fix was.

I just don't cache *anything*, on *any* browser.

Thanks Spot, seems to be O.K. now i disabled all the cache choices. but why would caching docs and other things cause the browser to stopp loading pages ?.

O.K. i changed my mind, its not working at all now, I hit hte back button, and Opera dissapeared altogether.

Tried restarting it - nothing. Guess disabling the cache choices wasn't a good idea, looks like i might have to re-install it. getting a segfault problem when i try to start it.

Just out of curiosity, are you using the dynamically linked version of Opera or the staticlt linked? You might try swapping one version for the other and see if that makes a difference.

Spot, No using the static version, anyway i dloaded the latest 6.03 version, and i am using that, still occasionally have to hit reload on some pages, but workks a lot better than it it did before.
Might have had a bad dload on 6.02 ??
